Phase II Under Way

La Entrada broke ground for Phase II of the project. The expansion calls for 12 new buildings of which 3 will be two-story. A new entrance on the I-19 Frontage Road featuring towers that have a “back to the historic” feel of Tubac’s past as a presidio, or Spanish fort. The project will have an interior village-like pedestrian friendly center with a small linear interior park and provide more parking spaces than all of Tubac Village.
When completed in mid-2008, La Entrada will be a collection of over 50 varied businesses. The collection will include an addition of new galleries, specialty shops such as pet boutique, gifts, herbal wellness store, women’s and children’s clothing, custom jewelry, photography studio, authentic Mexican restaurants including a south of the border landmark restaurant.
